It sounds like you're having such fun traveling! However, I took issue with something you said. You called yourself a "fish-eating vegetarian." Both the phrase and the idea are paradoxical. Vegetarians abstain from eating animal flesh, and once someone breaches that simple rule and yet still identifies as a vegetarian, it's confusing. I don't mind that you eat fish (though I'd prefer everyone be vegan); I am just bothered that you still call yourself vegetarian. It makes it harder for the rest of us who do not consume animals, but are frequently asked if we eat fish. Sometimes it's taken further by people saying such trite things as "Fish aren't really meat" "Fish are stupid" "Fish are the ONLY source of Omegas" or "My cousin's co-worker's boyfriend's roommate is vegan, but he eats fish and pepperoni pizza." I'm not blaming you for the ills of omnivorous society, nor do I think you're a bad person (I believe the contrary!). If you avoid all animal flesh except fish, please, call yourself a pescetarian.

Re: holiday in cardboardia

Another wonderful blog post! Ever since then, every single friend of mine who I recommended to listen to your music, has became an admirer. So now there's a whole bunch of people in Israel who want you to come...
